“Flower plantation” project

Today our 4th and 5th graders participated in a project in collaboration with the Municipality of Tirana called “flower plantation”. The project’s goal was to motivate students in exploring real-world problems and become a community of environmentally-minded thinkers. Students learned what plants need to grow and the life cycle of plants by growing seedlings and planting them.

They were encouraged to observe patterns in plants and seasonal changes in the school garden throughout the year. They experienced the many shapes, sizes, textures, and colors found among plants, and gained new knowledge about the parts of plants. 🌱😊
